An Innovative Concept from Chef Dan Rothman
Dan Rothman, a New Jersey native, studied Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales. His career began at Tavern on the Green in NYC, followed by restaurant openings in New Orleans, Palm Beach, and Cape Cod. He returned to NJ, where he worked at The Frog and the Peach and later opened the acclaimed Stage Left.
Dan spent five years as Executive Chef at The Olde Mill Inn and Grain House in Basking Ridge, NJ, before joining Whole Foods Market as a Regional Chef, focusing on culinary training and seasonal recipes.
He then became Culinary Director at Foragers Market and Table NYC, later managing the opening of Sickles Red Bank. Rothman returned to NYC as the Corporate Executive Chef for The Butcher's Daughter, blending seasonal cooking with plant-based cuisine.
Now, his focus is on showcasing New Jersey’s local produce and coastal cuisine at The Promenade Waterfront Grill.
